Each year, the 50 teacher finalists for the award are celebrated and recognized in their countries. They, as ambassadors of education, make up a network of teachers known as Global Teacher Prize Ambassadors.
This year, we set out to gather stories to represent inspiring and concrete ways to transform education."50 teachers who are transforming Latin America" contains stories of teacher ambassadors of the region who are making a difference from their classrooms. The book was presented at numerous events in different Latin American countries. In Argentina, theLegislature of the City of Buenos Airespresented it on Teacher's Day and the renownedLouis Pescettidedicated a few words to the ambassador teachers present.
The winner of the Global Teacher Prize 2021,Keishia Thorpe, he toured Latin America. During his time in Argentina, Uruguay and Chile, he got to know public and private schools of all levels; met with teachers, rectors and school principals. She was received by the Minister of National Education of Argentina, and interviewed by renowned media.

The Chegg.orgGlobal Student PrizeIt highlights the efforts of students around the world who are having a real impact on learning, the lives of their peers, and society at large. This award awards $100,000 to the winning student.
This year, in its second edition, students from Colombia, Mexico, Paraguay, Venezuela, Brazil, Ecuador, Jamaica, the Dominican Republic, and Argentina from the Latin American and Caribbean region were selected among the 50 finalists. They were chosen from 7,000 applications and nominations from 150 countries around the world.
Nicolás Monzón, from Argentina, and Lucas Tejedor, from Brazil, reached the Top 10.
The former Minister of Education of the Nation and the City, Esteban Bullrich, was the one who revealed to Nicolás Monzón that he was among the 10 most outstanding students in the world.
