2nd Congress on International Experiences in Professional Teacher Development

The transition from initial teacher training to the exercise of professional practice is a fundamental process, with a strong impact on the professional development of teachers. For this reason, together with the Government of the City of Buenos Aires and the Organization of Ibero-American States, we organized the 2nd Congress on International Experiences in Professional Teacher Development.

There we present a study on the accompaniment for the professional insertion of new teachers with regional trends and learning. The preparation of the document was in charge of the Coalition and the coordination and review was carried out by Denise Vaillant.

The symposium generated spaces for reflection on practice that allowed addressing the specific challenges of the first years of teaching performance. Former Latin American education ministers, officials and legislators participated; referents of social organizations; academics; and other actors in the education system.
